Don't quit your day job unless you have a manager! Take unpaid leave for a while to tour and see how it goes, then decide where to go from there.
You don't want to end up on welfare or worse because you quit your job and then didn't make it in the fickle world of music.
I do wish you good luck, but make sure to have a safety net - showbiz is a cold and hard world and it's not easy to make it.

You have a unique style. It would be better if you wrote your own stuff to take advantage of that rather than being compared with the original singers of the songs you have done on your web site to date. In the meantime keep the day job to finance your writing.

You should never quit your job until the "music" is generating enough steady income to replace that from the job.
