I know a lot of people ask serious question and only want answers from older people who have experience in a certain subject but there is no need for some people to be so rude about it. Some times an answer from a teenager is just what some people need when they want to know about things like why their kids do the things they do or other things like that.

I mean no one is forcing them to answer their questions or take their answers seriously.

Probably because a lot of the kids that are on here talk like this. omg i had a boi frnd 4 2 months lol lmao omfg, etc, etc. That is annoying. Also a lot of kids don't know what they are talking about, or just answer questions to get the points. If someone has a serious question and you don't know the answer then don't answer the question, don't answer it and be like 2 pts for me! If you are intelligent (which I can tell you are) and you want to contribute than that is great. But when ignorant kids try to answer... it's just annoying.

Hope this helps. =]

In many cases, people get an alarm or a "new email" alert whenever a new answer hits.

When that answer turns out to be something useless like a bad pun, an "I don't know" or an ill-informed opinion from someone with no experience or insight on a question, it tends to annoy the asker.

Rudeness is probably not the best way to handle it, but I can hardly blame folks for getting a little edgy about it.

Sadly, teens sometimes seem to have the attitude that they already "know" everything. Even when they don't.

I agree with you about the fact that "Some times an answer from a teenager is just what some people need when they want to know about things like why their kids do the things they do or other things like that."

that of course is your perspective--and you are entitled to it--however,no serious adult would ask the opinion of a teen on here ,because quite frankly you hide behind the screen, many of you pretend to be 15/16 when in fact you are 10/12--a question for you---would you like to think your parents took advice(from unknown teens--if they are) from here and applied it at home???so,not ANIMOSITY,more like incredulous disbelief of the naiviety and perspective of the answerers

Some people forget from where they came. As you get older, things become clearer through those experiences
you been through...over time you forget how long it to you to learn what has become so obvious.

So I believe what appears to be anger is older people answering questions that appear to be obvious to them but
not considering the experience level to those to whom they
respond to.

Let's be honest. Sometimes they ask really stupid questions, and they need the reality check.

I agree, we should beable to ask whatever questions we want. Adults have a choice to click on the questions, and they also have a choice to respond to them. They don't need to respond so rudely, it's unnecessary.
