can somone send me the link for instructions on replacing a keyboard on my dell inspiron 6400
its a bit of an emergency

dell already sent one out and they where supposed to call me to tell me how to replace it but they never did

you can go to any store and buy a keyboard if it is that big of an emergency, otherwise call dell because you would have to send it in to get it replaced.

There is no problem connecting keyboard. Shut computer down and plug new one in. And then start the computer. It does not have to be a Dell. Any keyboard will work, just some have more features than others. Good luck.
