When one of my questions or answers get deleted, I am never told who reported me?

I just think reporters would think twice about their troll-like activities if they knew that they would be held accountable for their actions.

On the rare occasion that I report someone (usually something racist), I WISH I could attach my name to the complaint. So the jerkwad had a clear understanding as to who he offended.

Right now, any chicken sh it can report us, and all we can do is rely on Y!A to do the research to make sure the reporter is not some stalker-troll (which they DON'T).

Well I guess I am done venting. Feel free to add your own frustrations. Just hurry up before I get a VN and this question gets deleted.

Dear Lil Officer,

I have read the community guidelines, and while I have problems with its vagueness, I wear my VNs with pride because I do continue to visit this site despite my aprehensions.

What I was trying to elaborate on in this Q was the fallacy of Y!A's reporting system and how easily it can be abused. You are a perfect example of such abuses.

BTW, if YOU had read the community guidelines, you would know that cutting and pasting the same answer to several questions is a violation. I have reported you. It is for the good of the Y!A community; I'm sure you understand.

I could not agree more. I am tired of people reporting me just cause they want too. Everytime I ask question about Buk it is deleted within minutes, if not seconds. And to the people who said this is not the US justice/legal system...THANKS FOR THE REPORT CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!!!!!

Zenobia, you're a cool one, you know that? :)

Anyways, I believe answers is not subject to the Legal system. They need to SERIOUSLY revise its policy. But I have a feeling Yahoo! fears that the accused would hand devastating retribution to the accuse, perhaps in the form of a crippling virus or even death threats.

This isn't the US legal system. It's a service provided by a corporation. Deal with their rules or find another service. For goodness sakes, quit whining.
