Anything to do with Religion. that's something that has killed people from the time it became institutionalized. It may be good for some, but it has been so perverted that it causes more problems than it solves. 4000 years and people are dying everywhere because of it. Mines better than yours.

Freeways.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could get everywhere we needed without getting in our cars, sitting in traffic, pumping out smog, and almost getting into an accident with some crazy guy talking on his phone?
