Like a great many Americans I took a greater interest in politics after the events of 911. Prior to that time I voted Republican largely because of my views on abortion, however after 911 I really started to question many of the issues that guide the conservative movement in this country.Folks we have been had !! I am now totally convinced that we have been brainwashed (since the Reagan campaign) and used. The true goal of the Republicans in power is the destruction of the middle class. They have used flim flam men like Limbaugh and Hannity to confuse middle class Americans into thinking that what is good for the wealthy is good for them.I like many others were sucked in on one or more of their arguments.as late as 2004 I was still being a chump and voting republican although I was starting to question more. There isn't space in this forum to list all the innacuracies that being pushed on us . I just ask this question to find out are there others who started to look closer then and change

Yea right...no it's not... you need to study exactly what the Conservative thought really is.. you clearly don't understand it. And you clearly don't listen to either Rush or Sean and certainly not Glenn... None are shills for Republicans, they are Conservatives and do, in fact, frequently disagree with the President and the Republican Party. You clearly suffer from Class envy and likely consider anyone making over $30,000 a year as rich... you sound more like a seminar poster than one with legitimate questions.

I am a conservative. Very few people are at my age, but I think that America as a whole is really paying more attention. At least I hope they are. I think that most are grossly mislead. I think that we need to hear from guys like Hannity, lest the media turn everything into something else. The mainstream media is 99 percent liberal. I, personally, like to hear from the other side as well.

Are you Democrats ashamed to ask a question without pretending to be a disgruntled Republican, If i were that ashamed of my party affiliation i would not ask a question.
