I don't clean anything I am addicted to my computer, my poor husband does all the work. I will be going into the computer rehab shortly, there will be a few of us going at the same time. But I am not a gossip, and I am giving no names you will know they are when they stop answering or asking questions.

8 year old Hoover upright with attachments is still sucking everything up - from the sofa to the floor.

Swiffer duster for those "between hard cleaning times" and, my new love, Swiffer Wet Jet for the kitchen. No more mop and bucket - and it cleans better, easier to use and smells better-and your hands never get wet!!

Hard cleaning requires Old English spray wax and a soft cotton cloth for all the wooden surfaces...Old English dark oil for touching up surface scratches.

I use "Windex" in the kitchen for appliances and countertops. It's not really windex but a store brand wiich is about 3.00 cheaper and does the same thing.

"Scrubbing Bubbles" wipes for the bathroom sink and toilet, Ajax and a toilet brush for the bowl and tub. Ajax for the kitchen sink.

I use the Swiffer duster every coupla days...walk around like a princess and give everything a quick swipe to remove surface dust.....WOW.

You're not weird at all. I use Dawn or even foamy hand soap for some of my cleaning too. I can't use Windex with my allergies (or bleach), so I use '7th Generation' glass and surface cleaner, it's free of fragrance and dyes. I also use vinegar and/or baking soda to clean and keep baby wipes handy-they're great for quick clean ups.

Good for you Little Bird! Soap and water will go a long way. I use Alcohol a lot too (one bottle of alcohol 1tsp ivory dish liquid in a gallon of distilled water) for windows! Ammonia, Clorox, though not mixed together!

I wax, yes Wax (car wax), my tile in the bathrooms, and all the counters. Water won't build up and spot. Lemon oil on the glass doors, for the same reason. I also wax my marble counter tops, again for the same reason... keep vinegar away from these surfaces as it will cut through the wax. Vinegar & water cleans the floors wonderfully! Also, the frig. For scouring use baking soda... or (you will love this) cigarette ashes (they won't scratch)! I have tons of things like this!

I am trying so hard to get on to using environment friendly products, I use a steam cleaner for my floors, I love that as it involves no chemicals at all, I often look for natural products for polishing, I use vinegar and bicarbonate of soda to clean the drains....but my big downfall is bleach which is so bad to use, but I just can't let my years and years of using this stop, it just makes me think everything is so clean after using it, it's like a drug....lol....maybe I should start up a "bleach anonymous" club up..."my name is ....and I'm a user of"....lol

I clean my sink with dishsoap and bleach, and I add bleach to my dishwater too. I mop with Mr. Clean, use it to clean the commode, the walls, lavatory, tub, table, refrigerator, stove, coffee table and end tables. I "windex" the windows, my reading glasses, the computer monitor and TV screens. I wipe the counter tops with bleach and spray Lysol into all my trash cans. I spot spray clothes with Spray 'n Wash, use Sun detergent, and DON'T use fabric softener because it makes things feel oily. I clean my hair with shampoo, my face with Dove and the rest of me with Zest or Dial. I use hand sanitizer liberally and often. I also rub down door knobs (handles) with bleach. I shampoo my carpet with Mr. Clean.
