yes, I know, it is weird. Ok, did you find piece of string outside your vagina? If not, you may put your fingers inside to reach to get tampon pull out. I know, it is hard get them to be pull it out. Have someone (female) to help you get your tampon being pull out.

I would think it would be difficult to forget the tampon is in you, although I have heard of cases where that's happened. The thing you need to worry about, aside from the aesthetic reasons, is toxic shock syndrome, which is still around and caused by tampons that are left too long in the vagina, like several days. So my suggestion to you is to make a very conscious effort NOT to forget that you have a tampon inside of you. Most women are pretty conscientious about changing both napkins and tampons frequently during their periods. Let's hope you become one of those, then you won't have to worry about it. Good luck!

I don't think it's weird, lol. I remember when I was 14 I read a story in a magazine about some girl forgetting she had a tampon in and having to go to the hospital. I'm 27 now and it still freaks me out.
Realistically though, it can only go in so far. It can't get lost in your body. If it's in there, and you stick a finger in you will feel it. Try not to worry about it too much, just be aware of how long you wear them and you'll remember to take them out. Also, when they get soaked through (sorry this sounds so gross, lol) they won't stay in very well. So, if you forgot one eventually your body would flush it out.

Well it's not good to leave them in long you can become very sick. Be sure to change them every few hours. And if you do forget you will be able to get it out. Just try not to forget.

Physically, it won't get lost. However, one can forget to take out the last one during your period and that is not good.

Don't worry, it can't get lost in there...If the string breaks off it can be alittle difficult to get it out, if that happens, go to your doctor, trust me, they are used to fishing those things out.
