I need some help and advice please. How did you get into Choregraphy, like what did you do to get in it? Tell me anything I need to know, because i'm stil in High School. Also, I love to dance, and I want to become a choreographer after I graduate. Oh, I would also like to know about the colleges here in Texas. Like, what's the cheapest (I guess). So please, help me out. Thanks.

In high school you should be participating in any dance teams and music classes that they have and also private dance lessons from someone in the area. if there are summer dance camps you can apply to attend, or local dance troupes, they would also be helpful. Sometimes a choreographer works their way up from being in a dance group, and demonstrating ability to develop great numbers and unique combinations of steps. You may not make it to Hollywood but there are many places that use choreographers on a smaller scale. State supported colleges are usually cheaper than private, there are websites that will list all colleges and the tuition, or write to the ones you are interested in attending. Money should not be the main concern, find one with a good dance program, some may not offer it at all.
