Do you think that people can learn to be humble or do you think that it is something that naturally occurs?

I think that anyone can learn anything if they have the right teachers.

Oh they can learn. As a Pimp, I have found myself on the teaching end of this concept quite frequently. They just need to be exposed to the proper stimuli. Check out Cool Hand Luke [a classic Paul Newman flick] for some examples.

Enough embarrassing events may teach someone to be humble, but its usually a natural trait.

well people can be humble if someone points out tht they need to go to the nearby bakery and buy some humble pie, they probably will.
