Sir Alex was moaning the fact that Man u haven't won more than two CL trophies.
" It's ridiculous," he said. "but the team of 1994 would've won if it wasn't for the ruling about foreigners."
The same two faced twit that only last month was calling for a quota on foreigners.

slug, he wasn't winding people up, he was hoping that people 'like me' wouldn't look into the archives, and that only people 'like you' would only read his lastest rant.

He's only talking about quotas because he is scared of Arsenal. Fulham hardly have any English players, don't hear him moaning about them.

But in '94, the foreigners ruling was only in European competitions and a lot more restrictive than any of the quota's being talked about today. (Just 3 foreigners! Imagine Arsenal or Liverpool having to deal with that in todays game)
Whereas the English leagues had no such ruling, so picking a squad purely to play in Europe, would've made it harder to get there in the first place.

Oh, and Randy, which clubs' fans meant we were banned in the first place????

What a total d.ck head question. Why don't you answer it yourself? Who in football is not two faced. Seen the managers when a decision goes against them, how the ref got it wrong. Next week exactly the same situation and the decision goes in their favour. That ref did not get it wrong. DUH!! Get the idea now how stupid your question is.

It's a game made up of people who only see it it from their point of view. Therefore, when it is in their favour, the decision is right, when it's against them, it's wrong. How two faced do you want it? Don't just put your ignorant cr.p on Ferguson, I can assure you that whatever team you support the manager and players are just the same, two faced bad sports.

Before you ask what you think are smart ar.e questions, think it through, then you may save making a total fool of yourself

I think it was Jimmy Carter we signed from Liverpool (remember him?) but I'm not sure may have been at the same time. When was the last time Everton and Liverpool did business? Kevin Sheedy? or am I missing one. Does Sheedy count really did he ever play for Liverpool?

Well if it wasn`t for this Ban.. Liverpool would be on about 9 wins now. and that`s a FACT.

I was talking about the Ban from European football by the way.

double standard, even in hindsight. its a bad rule if it hurts his squad - a good one if it helps.
he mayve lifted the CL trophy in 94 if he was able to field 15 players on the pitch but thems the rules....
