yeah i asked around the fourms and now i have another problem. i don't know where to get the driver for my internal wireless card from, its atheros ar5005g wireless network adapter, how ever if i could find an external wireless card/usb that uses the drivers linux comes with i would just buy it, instead of worrying about finding drives every time i upgrade or switch to a new linux

With the Atheros cards I found this seems to always work.

you can also install the ndiswrapper but try the madwifi site first.

I havent tried this one yet but have you looked at the ndfs wraper I think is what it is called. Maybe take a peek at the linux forums for more help
