Is it done the same as a regular home? Or is installing it different?

There is no difference. You may have to replace the plywood under the shingles, but this is done all the time. The reason you may have to replace the plywood is, if there was a leak, manufacured homes usually have chip board which swells when wet.

Otherwise, a shingled roof is a shingled roof.

Bare is right on. We did ours last summer. Strip off the old and put on the new. We did replace the skylights with double pane glass. The originals were plastic and at the end of their lives. We took the old roofing off ourselves and had a roofer put the new stuff on. There is a ton or so of old roofing to take to the landfill and lots of staples. They used large staples to install the original roof. I am still picking them up. They sell a roofing shovel at Home Depot for about $25 that makes the removal easy. One thing, when they delivered the new roofing they started out not being too carefull loading it on the roof. I had to slow them down a bit. They were shaking the whole house.

ya, be care full when putting bundles on your roof. dropping them can make your drywall pop off your ceiling.
some manufactured homes tar the shingles down for the 1st 3 ft up the roof, take off the bottom rows on a cool day and they will come up easy, dont wait till the hottest day or you will be cussing.
but ya, shingled same way as any other house.
also those plastic skylights are junk. buy new glass ones if you have them. velux makes a nice skylight and for the ease of homeowner install, some of their skylights already have a rubber flashing on them
