Seriously, I think man-to-man, position-by-position, the Pats are better on paper. But Romo is hot. You know your team better than I do so, any reservations about a SB matchup versus the Patriots? How about getting past the Packers?

DETHKLOK: What would you have us do, riot in the streets? I'd bet you'd like that.

My guess is that you always had your Mommy write you an excuse to get out of Phys Ed class because you got picked last for teams.

Trust me, sports does bring out the best in folks.

I think we can get past the Packers. It would be a tight game, especially with Favre and Al Harris healthy, but we could do it.

As for the Pats I would have to say no. We simply can't generate the pass rush to get past their O-line and our seconday really isn't that good. We could score with them, but in the end besides the fact that they would score more they know how to make the big plays at the end of the game.

Don't get me wrong- the Patriots are a great team with a stellar QB. BUT, as we saw with the ravens- pats game and their match up with the colts and cowboys, they can be beaten. If they continue to have a no loss season, all that pressure to reach the dolphins 1972 all win season will be something to hurt the patriots come playoffs and the superbowl. They will put too much effort into that winning streak.
The Cowboys are a great team as well, and very solid. They have T.O and Tony Romo, together one hell of a team. I do bileve that the Cowboys can take the Patriots in the Superbowl. Heres why:

Fan Base/ Morale:
There are more Dallas Cowboys fans worldwide and in Amercia than there are fans for any other team. (But the Packers have on heck of a fan base as well) Morale is high for the Cowboys, and Tony Romo's Cinderella-like story with this team is inspiring. People just love a great come back story. I think it is also safe to say that the Patriots Head Coach, Bill Bilecheck, is the most arragont and hated head coach of the day. More fans and hope for the Cowboys can certainly help.

Pressure:
WHo has more at stake in the playoffs and Superbowl? The Patriots. They need to maintain their winning streak and still be strong enough to win the S.B. Look at what happened to Farve when the Cowboys played them. Their great Q.B was injured and taken out of the game. The patriots do not have the same strong backup Q.B as Dallas. If something goes wrong, the entire Patriot offense is in touble.

So I think the Cowboys will win. After all, they are America's team for a reason.

fluke wins? they have beaten the packers, the bears, giants twice, not to mention they beat and eagles team the patriots struggled to beat. they had a lead on the patriots in the third quarter. add the fact that 4 defensive starters were either hurt or out for that game. lets even add the fact terry glenn still hasnt played yet. even if he comes back and hes the number 3 or 4 receiver it gives the cowboys depth at wide receiver to match the patriots. yeah they struggled with the bills and lions. romo turned the ball over 6 times and they still won the game. their defense struggled with the lions and they offense still won the game. the only difference with the patriots game is dallas was playing the patriots. my opinion whomever wins the nfc championship wins the superbowl.

Let me start off my saying im a Colts fan. Honestly i dont think they can. They struggle against teams like Lions and Buffalo. Most of there wins are flukes. I was watching there game today against the Lions, and the Lions were clearly the better team. Well at least today they were. The refs helped them out with a couple no calls like the no pass interference when it cleary was. (Even Troy Aikman and Joe Buck were surprised) That call would of put Detroit on the 1 yd line and most likely would of scored. So in all honestly they dont got a chance against any top 3 AFC team.

Originalgeorge-Lets not forget Lions were missing one of the most dynamic WR in the game Roy Williams. Cowboys just seem to have the luck. They get the calls there way. You mentioned that Chicago is a threat. How?

Homerism aside, I thought they had the Pats last game, but collapsed in the fourth quarter. Think they can again, if they play all four quarters. Romo is hot, but hopefully he keeps it up, and doesn't let his women, etc., get in the way of keeping his eyes on the prize. I am nervous about us playing the Packers and the Pats, but know they can do it, if they do what they know they are capable of doing. They looked uptight today, and even Romo didn't really look comfortable out there.

i'm hoping for a rematch of Pats vs Boys in the Superbowl.

about getting past the Packers we will only have to face them in the conference championship so they will still need to get past the Seahawks or the Giants!!!!

this year should have great matchups in the playoffs in both conferences.

If they were to play today, then the Cowboys would win.

The Cowboys are playing better football right now and the Patriots seem to have ran out of juice.
