Post earings are the ones with posts at the back that you put through your ear...

Well, post earrings are earrings that arents hoops or anything. They have a post, or what looks like a stick that goes through your ear. It's what most piercers recommend to keep in after healing your new piercing.

Post earrings are studs, they're not dangly or hoops...just stude. I don't know what else 2 say.

Post earrings are studs, with a back that you must attach.
They do not have hoops or any dangles.
Examples: pearl studs, diamond studs.

ohmy go*!! they are earrings that are NOT dangly or anything else.. they're small and mostly circular and have a post in the back... go to claire's... DUH!!
