If I have a prosessor in one computer, can I switch it to another computer? If so please give me instuctions or websites. Please tell me if you need mroe info.

Possibly. They must be from the same family of processors however. If you look up the motherboard's manufacturer site they should list the processors their model is compatible with.

You need to know details on the following:
CPU supported on each motherboard
CPU socket type on each motherboard

You will then need to become familiar with installing a heat sink on the CPU - it really isn't hard to do, just don't apply more paste than you need - paper thin coat is all you want.

Then pull the heat sinks from each CPU, release the lock arm for the CPU and exchange them , making sure the pin '1' indicator points to the likewise marked socket .

Bingo, you just completed what many think is the hardest part of building a PC..

Generally YES if:
1. They are of same slot format, such as Intel's LGA 775 or AMD's AM2.
2. Motherboard BIOS supports those processors.
