I have an emachines with radeon xpress 200 graphics using 64 mb of ram. I would like to use more to improve game performance. Is this possible?

Unfortunately not, you will have to buy a new graphics card to get better performance, but luckily for you even the crappiest dedicated card will annihilate what you have right now.
The nvidia 8400 and ati x1600 arent that expensive, they arent rocketships, but they are literally several times as powerful as what you have. I know for a fact that the x1600 can max out graphics on some games the xpress 200 cant even play at all.
All you have to do is figure out if you have a pci-x or agp slot, and whichever one you have just buy the card for that type, slap it in and install the drivers.

you cannot upgrade your on board graphic because it only use for basic computer not suitable for gaming, you must buy a graphic card.there a lot of cheap graphic card now like nvidia 8600 or ati x1600 start from $150-$250 is a good price for best gaming graphic..think about it.

no, integrated graphics is for basic computer use, not gaming. get a graphics card if you want to do gaming on your computer.
