Imagine you have a bad word jar, with every bad word you've said in the last two weeks, you've had to put in a dollar. How much money would you have today?

OMG!
I feel like I just entered the confessional!

Bless me father for I have sinned, it has been 10 years since my last confession............i have said the word crap at least a million times, damn, another million times, when I have stepped in crap, I sometimes called it the s word, there are bird turds on my car, is turd a bad word? When my female puppy at the 6th phone cord I called her a little b word for female dog.. When a car ran me off the road, I called him a dumb.....well another word for ..donkey and gave him the Italian salute.
Last night I went to a Christmas party and they were playing a song that I can't seem to get out of my head and the only words I could understand were the other words for donkey, I want to see your donkey, your big fat donkey....that is all I could understand
I called my nrighbor a stupid...hmm donkey when he hit my parked car, then somehow clipped my garbage can to the side passengr mirror, thereby taking the trash can with him, knocking it over and spreading garbage all over the road and me, chasing the damn thing!

I say damn now and then even here, so I would say about $5 to $7. Now in my misspent youth in the Navy you would have had to had a jar about the size of the aircraft carrier I was on. Every now and then I will say Skata and not too many people other than Mediterranean people know what I am actually saying, especially Greeks. And that would only add about $3 to the jar. So at the most maybe $10 in any two week period. I find I swear less the older I get.

I agree with some of the others who say if you use soap or tobasco that will stop the problem. Even more painful though (and therefore more effective) would be to not feed him for a day or maybe rub the tabasco in his eyes, or maybe stab him in the leg each time with a non fatal wound (That will DEFINATELY stop the behavior). None of these things will do any permanent physical damge, but will be cruel enuf to get him to shape up. JUST CUZ SOMETHING CAN QUICKLY CHANGE A CHILDS BEHAVIOR DOES NOT MEAN IT IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO TO CHANGE HIS BEHAVIOR. By the way the idea of a "bad" word is about as outdated as soap in the mouth. Words cant even be bad (think about that for a few days). If you gave me any word that you think is bad I guarantee you I could use it in a sentence that was not offensive to anyone (unless they actually believe that certain letters put next to each other, independant of meaning, are evil in some way). Words are just tools we use to reflect the thoughts in our minds. Are you gunna squirt floor cleaner into his head when he gets a "bad" thought. If he is using the words to try to hurt some one it is the fact that he is trying to hurt someone that needs your attention, not the words he used to do. Otherwise you are missing the whole point. It is like in the movies where it is ok to show someone cut someone elses head off but they bleep out the word @sshole that he says while killing the guy. Is it worse to kill or call some a "bad" name? According to our censors the bad words are worse than murder - literally. It is sad that we raise our kids to think this way. You are in danger of going down that road. Good luck, and thanks for asking before making a mistake

Mine would probably only have a dollar or two for the last 2 weeks, nobody has really made me mad enough in a while. And most of the people I hang out with don't use profanity as a second language, so I don't use it much either, any more. So this is the wrong week to ask me that, lol!

Probably about 5 or 6 dollars.

No, I'm wrong . . . . I forgot about cursing the NBA referees during the last three games. I just have to say even now when I think about it. They really Pi$$ed me off.

If my kids were still at home I would be empty.

Now I'm going to get a lump of coal in my Christmas stocking.

If it was my husband it would be empty.

EDIT: Grace, I think I accidently click a thumbs down on you. Very sorry, I didn't mean to.

Well, if I didn't drop that jar of pickles on Friday, I would have been in pretty good shape. But I would guess about $3-$5 & some change for the 1/2 bad words.

Let's just say that Donald Trump would have nothing on me.
Ha! Seriously? I suppose about $12. What I do more than anything, ( since I don't say the real BAD words) is say one in
conversation with my daughters just for the shock value and to see them laugh at least a couple of times a week.
Edit: I must say however Wickwire that this question really
chaps my a++!!! ( ok now $13)

Oh boy...you have picked the worst two weeks in a long time for me because I have had to cope with hearing of a few injustices and that brings the worst out of me, so I would have to say about $15, and most of those would have been in the last 3 days

$0 - I do not swear and never use any kind of bad language - in fact, I am on a campaign to get the four letter word "HATE" removed from our language. I believe that without it, life would be far more peaceful. People would be more tolerant of each other and hopefully within a decade or two we could all learn to love each other.

What's the biggest jar you have? It would I am afraid be too small but I have to confess I use all the foul words, but not strangely the sacrilegious ones(must be the Catholic upbringing)
