The closest thing to a horror movie that I have ever gotten are The Birds and Jaws. I do not like horror movies and never watch them.

The Nanny which was a remake of the Turn of the Screw with Bette Davis. Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte with Bette Davis, whatever happened to Baby Jane with Bette Davis and Joan Crawford was good too.
But the BEST of em is the Exorcist.

Gorgo... and, land before time, kinda hokey but pretty good.
When I broke my foot so badly the young one next door (that had known since birth), and I watched all the Godzilla movies laying on the couch one day! Well, his Mom wouldn't watch them with him! Jurassic Park was pretty damned good too! The kids were climbing over the seats to get away from that Raptor when the girl was trying to escape through the ceiling!
The shining... Psycho... Dam that knife in the shower thing!
I use to love watching "dark shadows" too!

The Birds will always take me back to the 6th grade. And the other one was not a horror movie but scared me as a child Wizard of Oz. I`ll get you my pretty. oooh scarey.

Don't know the years of them but I also love the Birds still hate to see a flock of birds. I really liked Stir of Echoes but Legend of Boggy Creek is probably one of my faves too.
