Yes I remember. I was in Mexico with my ex-husband and so didn't hear the news until the next day when we came back to the states. It is still shocking when I think about it. What a waste. I was fortunate to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland when the John Lennon exhibit was there. His bloody glasses were on display. Just seeing those made it real again. I wonder why the peacemakers are the ones to die violently.

It was my 3rd birthday(I was born December 8. 1977) and I still remember clearly, being over at my granddad's house with my mom and dad, and them saying to turn up the news. I could tell that something big was going on.

I was maybe in grade school, and I remember being in the car with my parents when the news came on the radio. They were pretty upset.
