How do you make a 3-D teardrop shape out of plain paper?

I am doing this for a chemistry project and I was just wondering how this is done, or are there easy methods in producing a teardrop-shape design/model with just paper. Also, if possible provide one for a sphere as well. Much appreciated, thanks.
