The question that I have is he on the lease?
If he is on the lease then you can't make him leave since he is a legal resident.
If he is not on the lease then he has no legal right to stay there...

If you have decided to end the relationship the best thing to do would be to tell him, and then allow him a couple of weeks to find some place else to live. Move him into another room (or on to the sofa) and at the end of the specified time, if he returns make sure his possessions are on the porch and the locks changed.

Is he on the lease? If not call the police and have him removed. Don't let him guilt you into letting him stay. Worse case you'll have to get a court order which you can so through family court most cases without a lawyer. Also you can check with your local legal aid society for help.

Yes. Let your yes means yes. There are plenty of places he can go. What about his family? Does he have any? You have listed quite a bit of reasons. If he is not paying bills then what is the point? If you do not stick to your decision he is going to think you are a door mat and an idiot, a person who can't make up her mind. He may even be bragging to his friends about his free-loading life. Who knows? You putting him out and forcing him to be a "man" maybe the best thing you could ever do for him.

Pack his stuff and leave it by the door. If he wont leave, and hes not on your lease, call the police to have them take him away.

See a judge, ask for an eviction notice to him. After he is served (with the eviction notice), If he does not leave, call the police! They will give him someplace to go! (or have him arrested for trespassing)

If his name is not on the lease agreement then kick his sorry butt to the curb. He has got to have somewhere to go....he would just rather be a pain in your butt and that is most likely because you let him. STAND UP FOR YOURSELF!

YES... make him leave. There should be no room for freeloading users in your life. He will do nothing but drain you of your time, emotions, and your money. Give him the boot, for good!

yes he needs to go - for a person to be so argumentive with the person who is taking care of him is just unheard of - he is showing no gratitude - the quest. is: is his name on the apartment if not go straight to court and get an eviction notice to get him out. he should be embarrassed that a women is taking care of him. it's clear to see you have outgrown him and you will be much happier w/him out - as for him a place to go HOMELESS SHELTER they will take him. good luck and stick to what you need to do for you
