You wake in the morning, your voice replaced by weird, garbled, muffled sound. You go seeking every doctor, without result. You'll be a mute for life. However, to make up for your lack of voice you can something to help you go on in life. You can't ask a new voice, too, or a text-to-speech system.

A whip....if someone couldn't understand me, I would slash them with my whip out of frusturation. That also comes in handy when you need your house clean. You won't even have to say anything...just start whippin.

Id use sign language, i learned it from age 11 cause it was taught it because of my mentally retarded brother, and my parents didnt bother to learn it, i went along to the free lessons with my brother so i know the basics.

A videotape or DVD of sign lanquage so that after i've mastered it I can lend it to all my friends/family/colleagues so they can learn it too.
