The Black Widow Pearl is the best ball out on the market right now. It is very versatile for drilling, and will work at any age level. Be careful and let your ball driller know the way you want it drilled. This ball can be drilled to go long and hook or to flat out just hook. If you are wanting something a little less aggressive, and still wanting to pay the price, I would look into the Columbia 300 Resurgence.

Ask a good local pro shop with a good ball driller; they'll help you match YOUR style to the lane conditions you'll be bowling on. None of us have watched you bowl, and can't really give you spot-on advice. Every ball is good, for particular styles and conditions.

We don't know what parts of the lane you typically play, we don't know if you're a high-rev or low-rev bowler, we don't know if you typically bowl on dry or oily lanes. I just don't want to take a guess and get it wrong; that wouldn't be fair to you.

So, I think the best advice is to talk to people who DO know your game. Go to a good pro shop, and they'll ask you the necessary questions, they might even watch you throw a game or two, and they will help match you up with the ball that will work best for YOU.

Keep in mind, if there was one ball that was THE best for everyone, then everyone would use it. That doesn't happen because different balls are good for different bowlers. I've seen balls that some bowlers called junk while other bowlers won $40,000 with the same balls on TV.
