I know they're not, but I've been accused of being one once because me and two other people appeared to be in synch with eachother when answering the same question. I think it was a huge leap to make that assumption, just as well as assuming that being a level 5+ means a person is a Yahoo! employee.
Yahoo! staff members actually ask and answer questions on here, and they do it with complete transparency. They have a green badge that says "Yahoo! Staff."

I think they probably are but lets be honest Yahoo Answers can be addictive and some people stay on it all the time so I think that with enough determination anyone can reach level 5 and quickly at that!

I know plenty of them people and they aren't on staff but if you have to be level 5 or above I guess I'll never be on staff! (pouting)
