I got mine at 21 (no children). I know a few others that did the same.

Back in 1989, I just lied about my age, and about having children. That was all it took. Today, I hear it is much easier.

In the USA, you can get one at most any non-profit clinic at 21 if you pay cash for it. Private doctors won't, because they fear liability.

I suspect the same may be true in Europe, considering the fact that being Child-Free is much more common there.

Just because you had a vasectomy, does not mean that you will never use condoms. I still use them sometimes. I also used them every time for almost a year after getting mine.

I am single with no children. I got my vasectomy when I was 24. I called my insurance for a referral to a urologist. They set me up. The urologist showed me a movie and asked about three questions, like:
Do you have all the children you want? Yes - (None)
Is your spouse currently pregnant? No - (I’m single).
Does your spouse disagree? No- (I’m single).

I left out the stuff in parentheses.

I had it done like that. That was 11 years ago.
I live in Southern California, USA.

You could just lie about your age, having children, and marital status.

LOL hey if you find one let me know. I don't want one of those dream crushers running around. And yes by that I mean children. They scream, cry, and leak fluids from every orifice they have. I will pass on that thank you very much. And I won't even get into the idea of having to pay child support. A vasectomy would definately be added insurance.

As you grow up, mature, your mind changes about many, many things. To get a vasectomy now (if you could) would be something I'm sure you would regret. BE SURE to use condoms and make sure any future partners have their own birth control methods in place.

Most doctors don't preform that until you either
A) had 2 kids
B) over the age of 35.

Just wear condoms!
Good luck!

I think you should reconsider that decision.

You're only 21. What if somewhere down the line you want to have children?

They would probably make you go through alot of counseling to make sure that's what you really, really, really want.
