yes. Because the designated school bus stop is considered school property just the same as if he were standing in the school parking lot or hallway. It is a rule they made to protect kids at the bus stop so that they could be harsher on people who bother kids (pedophiles, non-custodial parents, etc.). The question is, if the child was suspended why was he at the bus stop in the first place? he should not have been there since he was not going to school. Not necessarily my opinion, but rather the one the school will have

Since the bus stop was not on school property, I would have thought that the students were not going to be disciplined by the school but I found out differently when my oldest son was in school. Granted, he was a handful and was suspended from the bus for a week for not listening to the bus driver. When the bus came down our street while he was suspended, he mooned the bus driver. It added two more weeks to his bus suspension. I made him walk to school while he was off the bus and guess it did teach him a lesson. He's now the responsible owner for three very successful businesses and a proud father of his own three sons.

Sure.

If the student that was in front of the suspended student's house was there for the purpose of catching a bus to go to school, then it is an issue for the school. But the suspended student could also have to face charges from the local police, which could be the response of the school, as well as the school could expell the student from the school.

Sure. If the suspended student is on school property they are still under the rules/discipline of the school.
