I will be making shortbread and sugar cookies today:) They keep well, freeze well, and should still be allright when the holidays are here. If they last that long, lol:)

I love baking! My family LOVES it when I bake and I start as soon as it's cold out and I can help heat the house with the oven and the wonderful smells it produces. I started holiday baking back in mid November, there's nothing left, so I'm waiting now until the week before Christmas to bake more. This way we'll have something left to pass to friends and it won't be around as a temptation to over eat those fattening treats. =)

I baked a cake last night for all the poker players. It was not holiday related all though they were a festive bunch.
