*thinks* you could make a breastplate so it dosnt get a fatal heart wound...i thing that's all it'll need...and a healmet for brain injuries(asuming it has a brain!)

I think it should be made from the bones and plates of the dinos he's beaten in battle and then eaten. Like Steg's plates, the bones from Anklyosaur's tail, and the face plates of a Trike.
Is he making the armor or having it commissioned? I think there are serious plausibility problems with him making pretty much anything, unless your T-Rex doesn't have teenty tiny mutant arms?

squash a couple of buses to be placed against his underbelly which i believe to be the only vulnerable spot.obviously this would be somewhat costly but the arms need no protection so you could make a few savings there.and a big bobble hat.

Cut the bottom out of a Sherman tank and let him sit in that. He could make like Barny Rubble when he wanted to move.

If you make it for them anything would work, perhaps a specialy created Kevlar suit over hard ceramic plates, that would prove rather effective!

cast iron wrapped in aluminum foil so he is protected and makes a lot of noise and teeth hurting sounds yikes, he will be king of the forest or woods or glades etc...
