We have a practice in our family. We lost a loved one in the past few weeks. We will be taking the money we would have used to buy her gifts and buy gifts for someone else that does not have anything for Christmas and give them presents in her memory. This way Edna will be still giving with the same love she always showed us.

All I can say is my favorite charity will be receiving a special added surprise this Christmas in honor of someone else. I think the person would have liked this contribution. As she was a very loving person.

I normally do not like speaking of such actions but I will make an exception, here.

This won't be a memorial year for us but we will give a bit to the poor as we realize it is not the best thing for us to be selfish....

My cat died yesterday, and I am planning to buy food for the local animal shelter in memory of my cat.

Yes I do...I always find a different one every year. This year it will be for our local food pantry in memory of my Stepfather.
