Does Duke of Energy stock have any value?

This stock was purchased in 1983 and just found. Could this be the same as Duke Energy? I need a response ASAP.

I have no idea. Why not go to their web site, or call investor relations to find out. Here is a phone # I found for Duke:

You bet it has value, Duke (DUK) has $26B mkt cap now, plus tons of dividends over the years. My guess is they've been reinvested or held in an account for you with the brokerage who the stock was purchased from. Check into that as well.
