d. The ox. no. of Fe3+ is going down, so it gets reduced, so Zn reduces it. And by a process of elimination...

Loss of electrons is oxidation and the agent causing the losss the is oxidixing agent. Gain of electron is reduction and the agent causing the gain in electron is the reducing agent. Thus, correct answer is D.

the answer is d because oxidizers loose electrons while reducers gain electrons. remember oil rig which means oxidizers is losing and redox is gaining electrons
