4 years ago I purchased the game when it came out. I immediately sold it because it was too much for me. It wasn't so much a full scary, but a stressful kind of scary. Now I just bought it again and I'm hesitant to play it alone. Something is seriously wrong with me.

Has anyone had any success getting through this game and not freaking out in a little fear? Was it worth it?

Yes, I was able to complete Fatal Frame II, but I'll admit it is definitely a scary game. I thought it was well worth it, I think the Fatal Frame series is quite unique compared to many other survival/horror games. If you'd like to check out another scary and very unique horror game, play Eternal Darkness - Sanity's Requiem for the Gamecube. That game really messed with my mind.
