It’s sad when teachers promote anti-capitalism and pro-liberalism views on their students. Not surprising that 99 cents out of every dollar donated to Congress is given to the Democrat party. So many students trust teachers as being honest, but instead are promoting their political agenda on young gullible students
American Federation of Teachers
The American Federation of Teachers represents 1 million teachers, school staff, higher education faculty and other public employees. As one of the leading education groups on Capitol Hill, the federation lobbied heavily on President Bush’s education plan, beating back attempts to attach pro-voucher amendments.

It’s sad that you believe the media. 99 cents out of every dollar donated to congress goes to the Democrats. It’s obvious they will report only what benefits those they support, the Democrats. America has been brainwashed by TV and Newspapers.
What if the media wasn’t one of the largest contributors to the Democratic Party, do you think they would report the truth
"CWA, America's largest communications and media union
Broadcasting, journalism and other fields. The union’s members work for companies such as AT&T, General Electric and many of the nation’s top newspapers and broadcast stations.

I became a conservative when I figured out the alternative. When I was very young I was a liberal because with my heart I believed that giving was the right thing to do. Then I discovered they could work and they just kept on taking. I learned at a young age that teaching a person to be self-reliant was the best thing one could do for another.
I still have a tender heart and believe there are certain people who need help. The ones physically and mentally disabled, disadvantaged children and our elderly. I also believe all people of all nations should enjoy the freedoms and liberty that we have.
I know that unions do take advantage of their members and often sacrifice them for their liberal ideals. No, not all America is brainwashed. For some it is just easier to let others do the thinking for them. There is still some not owned by the leftist media who do tell the truth, but not everyone listens!

Democrat until about 1970. Then registered as a Republican. My sister and brother-in-law are Democrats. It is interesting that two of their children have been voting Republican for several years. I have learned to keep my mouth shut when we are all together because my brother-in-law talks louder than I do. I would like to see more Conservative teachers in our schools. It seems to be very one sided with Liberals outnumbering Conservatives by a big margin.
I have heard that the owner of The Seattle Times is in reality a Conservative. One would not know it most of the time. Once in a while they will endorse a Conservative but most of the news is slanted the other way.

Liberals are in prefer of man or woman and workers rights and oftentimes motivate a predominantly unfastened-marketplace economic gadget the place there's a level of government involvement. They help a trendy tax gadget besides as a social risk-free practices internet for the previous, the ill, and the unfavourable. Conservatives are in prefer of utilising government to implement ethical rules yet want little to no government involvement in economics. They motivate heavy deregulation of all economic sectors and oftentimes, nevertheless no longer completely, help a flat tax gadget. they oftentimes do no longer help social risk-free practices internet classes and help proscribing the rights of unions. maximum those days nevertheless, the two events have began to paintings for the comparable end. the comparable company hobbies that offered the Republicans 50 years in the past, offered the Democrats interior the early 1980's. interior the present situation balloting for the two between the foremost political events is a little greater desirable than balloting for the lesser of two evils. Judging by potential of your perspectives you need to be something from a reasonable Democrat to a libertarian Republican yet that particularly relies upon on your perspectives on economics and taxation.

I don't remember becoming democrat-independent. I've just always have been. My family is democratic. If I had to pick a day, it would some time ago. My mom is a fan of NPR. After listening a bit, I asked what was a democrat and what was a republican. I don't rember the specific answer, but she did say she would support me choosing what I want (she didn't say what she was at the time, so I couldn't just side with her).

When I read more and more about the history of liberalism and conservatism in this country. I majored in engineering in college, so I didn't see any of this political bias there. The only time I saw was when I took American and Texas government classes. My Texas government professor was always angry blaming Clinton for something. I can only guess he was a conservative. My government professor, on the other hand, was laid back, easy going, fair, and open minded. He never talked about politicans or current politics that I can remember off. I can only guess he was a liberal.

Well, given how Republicans like to make strawmen out of teachers for all of the problems with public education while promoting and lying about the effectiveness of "charter schools"., it's little wonder that is what you get.
Fact is most charter schools are mostly inferior garbage designed to make Republican investors rich.

My parents instilled into me to think for myself which is why I have always been and will always be an Independent.
I do not require a group to determine what is best for me. I prefer to view fluid situations and events absent of wearing Bush-goggles or Clinton-goggles.

I became an independent because I don't like party labels personally. I don't like the corruption that goes on on both parties, either.
