Classic comedy. That's the only way to describe it.

It originally ran on CBS from September 11, 1967 to March 29, 1978 for 278 episodes, and originated from CBS Television City's Studio 33 (now the Bob Barker studio).
When I was a kid I watched it. It was so funny. I wish they would air those great old shows.
Carol had a lot of insanely funny characters!!

I watched every episode during it's original run. It was the greatest sketch comedy show of all time with the greatest cast: Carol, Harvey Korman, Vickie Lawrence, Tim Conway, and Lyle Waggoner. Some of the funniest sketches of all time were performed by this cast.

Sure did, but I believe it was on Monday nights. I remember when they picked Vicki Lawrence as Carol's 'look-a-like.' People sent in their pictures, and Vicki won! My children never saw her in anything but "Mama's Family," and you can't tell what she really looks like with all the padding and the wig. I would love to see those shows again.

Yes, when I was a kid. It was actually pretty funny. It was a show like Saturday Night Live where they did skits.
