Dissapointed, but for some reason I doubt that Mike Lowell is on steroids. Just a gut feeling. ;)

Why ought to they be banned? Did MLB attempt everybody randomly? Are they easily beneficial they have all the culprits? Are those stated all accountable as implied? i think of baseball ought to have pre-empted this entire unhappy episode yet are you able to be sure how lots extra money baseball made throughout the steroid era? You and that i payed for it and Bud Selig and different baseball functionaries can lament all they choose yet no person is being asked to grant any money returned and no person is soliciting for the resignation of the commish. think of if this occurred in Korea or Japan. The commish would be long previous in the past he can hire a self-serving investigator to make it look he cares or cared. To show regret to the followers baseball could have the money for to cut back all fee ticket expenditures in 0.5 for a three hundred and sixty 5 days and set up countless charities to serve the ordinary public funded by ability of 10% of gamers' salaries. Yeah, good!

Boy, would that take the fun out of it for me. But I'd absolutely want to know. I don't want to cheer for a cheater. If my favorite player (David Ortiz) was included in the Mitchell Report I would boo him every time he came to the plate and make him feel as unwelcome in Boston as possible until, hopefully, he left. Whether a team wins or loses just can't compare in importance to whether they win or lose honestly, and I'll always root for the good guys of the sport over my own so-called self interest. Once the Mitchell Report comes out there will be bloodshed and I will be one of the fans making their voice heard on the field, no matter how much it goes against 'the script,' no matter how twisted it makes the story of the sport. Whatever mythology I have to destroy. I don't care. The fans have to stand united behind fair competition above and beyond whatever teams or players they happen to like. It is our responsibility as the writers of history.

Disappointment would be putting it mildly. The shape of our world in today's times doesn't leave people much to cheer about. Sports has always been an outlet to be enjoyed. We'd like to think that our sports heroes are just a cut above the norm. Unfortunately that's not the case anymore.

If my favorite player of today, (Derek Jeter) turns out to be nothing more than a cheat like those that have already been mentioned over these past couple of years, I'd just have to move on. Whether I could ever again root for him would seemingly be unlikely. I might even walk away from the game for awhile.

I would expect them to be treated just like anyone else should be treated. The punishments should be handed down to everyone not just a few. As for the people here claiming to be yankee fans and saying that they would not cheer the team anymore.....what about Jason Giambi? He has been busted, apologized, and talked to Mitchell. The yankees have done nothing to punish him.

Be disappointed, and never root for him again, not only because he took the steroids, but wasn't man enough to admit it until he was found out. Being a Yankees' fan, if the Yankees didn't do anything about it, I would lose all interest in them.

Shock. I will probably feel betrayed, and find a new player to be a fan of. However, I won't have to worry about that since Don Mattingly never did steroids.

I'd be extremely dissappointed. After some yells and a couple of tears, I'll move on. I doubt that a guy who puts 110% out on the field like Derek Jeter is on that list.

My favorite player is Jason Giambi. Give me thumbs down I don't care. If he was convicted of using steroids again, I would faint.

I mean, Giambis a good guy who made a bad mistake. We all do in life. The punishment and criticism he received from taking steroids was brutal, and if he took it again it would double, maybe even triple.

This is a really good question.. I'd be really upset that JRoll, or whoever, betrayed my city. Next to that, I'd feel embarassed that he received MVP and that Halliday was feeling utterly cheated. Oddly enough, Rollins has been hitting for a large number of homeruns (as compared to his previous years), so it actually wouldn't be too much of a surprise. But overally I'd feel completely shocked.
