Depending on the area. In a decent neighborhood in south buffalo a large home can go for around $30,000. Out of the city in the country with some (a couple acres) land about 100,000-150000. The suburbs, depending which ones 100,000-500,000.
There are homes that go for a lot more and some that go for a lot less. Neighborhood, schools, location...all to be taken in consideration.

I live in Rochester which is only about 60 miles from Buffalo. Kinda different real estate makrets but new homes aren't too pricey around hear. But it all depends on what your looking for, you can get a newer home for about $100k but probably not a new built. Look it up on zillow.com or you can look at current listings on homesteadnet.com.

It really depends on where you're looking. You can get a decent house in the city of buffalo for less than 70K. Or you can get a newer house in a safer suburb (Amherst, Lancaster, Williamsville) for in the 110-120 range. Check out http://www.buffalo.com/homefinderextra/

Don't know for sure, but considering it is a struggling old industrial city, I'm guessing 100k or so. Go to www.zillow.com, type in the address you are interested in, and you should get some answers.
