Hello Im a student of Devry university in SF going to fremont soon. I have been with Devry for about since Jan of 07, I'm going for my Game system programming or Game simulation. Now my question is... does Devry's GSP (Bachelor degree) Accredited and should I continue? I have heard and read some topics that devry had some lawsuit's with former students but were of 06 so its a little recent. And that some Degrees of devry will not be accepted by company. I am thinking of Transfering too a Community college like CSM, and or Skyline.

If you can answer these and help me here I would be very grateful. By the way I am looking for these answers while I wait for your answer. Thank you!

DeVry is regionally accredited (the highest level for an institution), so no problem there.

You can check a schools accreditation here:

Definitely continue your own research and contact an HR rep at a potential employer, since Yahoo! Answers is obviously not the best place for advice.

Congrats on continuing your education!

DeVry is accredited -- but that is not hard to get. DeVry is a For Profit university -- and many employers do not regard degrees from For Profit universities very highly.

Devry is a ripoff ! for profit mongers !

go to a state university !
you'll thank me when you figure out that your degree is worth something that a "profit monger" college's degree is not worth !
