I used to think that everyone was mean. But the longer i spent answering questions I never know the real answers to, and asking foolish questions; i realised that there are actually some really decent people here, some of them nicer than most people you actually know.

Frankly, I am not sorry about your puppy because you are too ignorant for me to waste my sympathies on. I have met A LOT of pit bulls and I have never seen one that was mean, pit bulls are a very popular dog where I live, they are all over the place, and I cannot remember the news reporting a story of a local pit bull attack, and I read the local newspaper and watch the local news, so I would have heard about one. Of all the dogs that I've met I have been bitten by several Chihuahuas, and I do not say that Chihuahuas are vicious animals, and yet more people are bitten by Chihuahuas than pit bulls, but because it's a toy breed, they are less likely to report it. It's the owners fault, the person who owns the aggressive pit bull, is the one who has not raised the dog properly. A properly raised pit bull is sweet and good natured, someone who does not raise them well is the reason the dog is aggressive. It's the same thing with the Chihuahua owners, they are the ones at fault, NOT THE DOG.

There are lots of great people here....I often find it much easier to ask questions here than I would in the "real" world....most people I know might give me some very funny looks if they saw some of the questions I post on here...lol

I've found that many people who answer questions on here are professionals (including myself) in the healthcare or mental health care system.
Some people answer questions to actually try and help others. It just seems they are few and far between

Sure, but that's true anywhere. You're gonna meet nice people, and then there are the really sh*%ty people, and all the people in between. Sometimes the nicer ones are just not as obvious.

There really are some nice people here...you get the occasioanl smart @$$ who could just move on their way if they don't like a question. But instead they leave a smart @$$ answer instead and try to ruin someones day.

I agree because Im one of those people. The people I give advice to on here, get the same amount of respect I give to the people I give advice to in person :)

Yup. But some people just get defensive for what they think on here. It's like some judge you and they don't even know you and that what ticks me off.
But all my contacts are nice people.
