portugal is a small town of mormons?
we all dress differentely. its a free country. the only forbidden thing is to outside naked.

mmmm...I will try not to be ironic or sarcastic, as many people have already been so, and they have said everything I had in mind. Most western people dress more or less the same, although I personally find that, generally, Europeans are more stylish than Americans. With the exception of East coast Americans like New Yorkers or Bostonians, who I find have really good taste. BTW, i actually think Portuguese dress better than many Americans from little towns, who I find a bit uncouth. I should know, as I've lived near Portugal and have visited it several times.

No! We portuguese dress like the midlle ages, with armours and long hats, and we ride horses and live in obscure houses and castles, and the weather is always dark and rainy! Let me guess, you in USA dress like the cowboys and you all are shooting guns (not far away from the truth...)near the saloon and chasing indians, and you are all beautifull like Jolie, Lopez, Aniston, Pitt, etc, and elegant and skinny! Isn't it so?

Like most other people dress.
You should go to Portugal, it is a beautiful country, I really love the Algarve (Southern Portugal) great food too.

No they dont dress as trashy and lazy, like wearing pajamas to the grocery store, they dress almost like us though
