Afterwards God gave Noah a sign that he would never do it again. A rainbow. Had there been rain before a rainbow would not have been so significant. Thought to ponder.- We know that water goes into the sky (up), without raining. (evaporation) We also see water drenched fields (dew), without it raining.

Ignoring the fact that the story of Noah is most likely an allegory and if it *had* happened it certainly wasn't on a global scale why would you think it hadn't rained before?

Didn't people have crops? What did people drink? What did animals drink? Of course it rained. It has rained since there was a enough water on the planet to drive the water cycle.

Unfortunately, we do not see any of the very specific sediment horizons such a flood would leave behind. All of the rhetoric by Creation Scientists, and not a single report identifying the contact zones between pre-flood, flood, and post-flood sediments that would be consisent with a global "Noachian Deluge" in any given area... much less worldwide.

Before you start chasing rainbows, you might want to look for physical evidence beyond a tale that may or may not have been meant to be taken literally even several thousand years ago when it originated.

it incredibly is maximum in all danger that the tale got here from a time whilst the crimson Sea rose 60ft around the time of Noah, masking many of the encircling low lands. human beings in those days believed the Earth became no longer in elementary terms flat, yet very small. This flood might have been seen to be worldwide extensive.
