well everyone has a different answer for this question. Some people believe that "ghosts" are human or non human entities which are bound to earth. Others believe that they are simply collections of energy. I myself truely believe that there are ghosts or whatever you want to call them. the way I see it, there have been too many things that i have seen or others have caught on camera or on audio devices that suggest that we are not alone. most people will tell you that ghosts are just fiction. you will never know unless you have your own experience.

or
do a search on the Colorado Black Forest Haunting circa 1997. and look at the pic of the mirror from the house.

Because some people have seen them. I have and I know it wasn't a dream or a hallucination because my husband saw it, too. My grandmother, aunt, and several other relatives have seen the same ghost (my grandfather) So I'm a believer.

People desperately want to believe in life after death, it is part of human nature. Much of religion is based off this same concept. People fear what is after death (nothing), so very much, that they invent many myths and stories to ease the fear and reassure them that there is something beyond the grave. Also, some people look at 'paranormal happenings' and call them ghosts. Whether it be 'orbs' in pictures or some coincidental face-like apparation in a photo, people insist that these are ghosts. They really want to believe in this paranormal activity, ghosts or simply apparations.

Because people have seen things that are paranormal and cannot be explained and there are such things as spirits (ghosts). There is a spiritual world all around us that we can't see happening. Angels. Spirits. Demons.

Life is so much more interesting than just what the eye sees.
It is the difference between meeting people or just looking at their photos in a photo album.

Some people plainly believe in anything. So maybe they heard someone say a while ago, I saw a ghost and decided what it would look like

becasue yuor ghost is your soul that just hasn't moved on to yuor next life, trapped in place so to speck. some people just don't seem them though, it's alright not to beleave but they might actually be there and you just havn't seen them yet
