It's a part of an online application that says :
You may provide additional information on the ranking of your research areas (maximum 150 words).

but the other part that has asked for research interest areas, has the limitation of 50 words only.

So I wondered what the "100" words can be, instead of 1,2,3,...

cause they have asked for a statement of research in the other part and that has 500 words limitation.

How else I can complete it ? What is better to do?

The "you may" suggests that you don't need to fill this out at all. However, they are giving you a chance to prioritize the areas you mentioned with an explanation. You could say, "My primary reserach area is_____, due to my fascination with _____ which I developed working on a biology field trip to Mexico. In addition, I have been working with my professor on _____, and I am developing a paper I wrote in my _____ class for publication." It just gives them a better sense of how important each of your research interests is to you, if you have such priorities.
