203.19 is your available balance. Are you sure the 3.19 is not the previous balance prior to the X-fer?

Until the $200 has cleared, you may incur overdraft fees if you spend more than $3.19.

If both accounts are with the same branch of the bank, it should clear overnight. If they are different banks, or even different branches of the same bank, you need to allow 3 to 5 working days for the funds to clear.

203.19 but most banks require a minimum be left in the account and if your account shows balance 3.19 but you know your available is 203.19 it simply means the transaction has not processed throught the banking network yet or you may have something pending like a check or visa/debt purchase

you only have the $3.19 available at this time.
if your checking account was not in the negative, then once the transfer is completed you will have the $203.19. you will have to check with your bank once they open monday morning to find out when the transfer will be completed - different banks have different rules

My stupid bank does the same thing. If you have over-draft protection on your checking account, you can spend all $203.19. The over-draft protection on your checking account uses funds in your savings account. Basically, the bank is waiting for the funds to clear in the transfer. This is totally retarded because it was the bank itself that transferred the money from itself to itself.

about 10.00 less then your total or you go into supplying the bank with charges for lack of funds and service charges in the middle of the month.
