I need ideas for a 1940's party outfit (not from a hire shop), did think about going as a Land Girl but it's not very glamorous!

1940's is a very fashionable time for clothes at the moment. I just got a 1940s style dress from primark, its teal coloured and has a row of little buttons down the front get something like that, the 1940's style is in all the shops at the mo.
