I didn't but my dad did, bought a race horse while in Florida and entered the horse in several races but he never won one single race, and when dad saw that the kids really loved the horse, he withdrew the horse from professional racing and retired him to our back yard in Naples, Florida.
I have heard that some people become addicted to betting on horse races, I guess its like any other addiction, but I never have.
