I think everyone is more afraid of death than dark. Everyone is afraid of if death hurts, and no one knows what happens. As for dark the dark isn't much just you can't see, and I think that dark would be better because no one can be judgmental over what other people look like. For me I understand the meaning of death and I'd however choose death over living forever because what's the point in that when all your friends and family have passed away. It sort of makes life pointless. However even though I understand Death I'm still afraid of it.

I'm not afraid of the dark. In fact, my bedroom has to be completely dark or I can't sleep. Nor am I afraid of death. I've nearly died 7 different times in my life and the feeling of being on the other side is one of deep peacefulness. Nothing to be afraid of. I'm more afraid of the dying process, i.e., a long, lingering illness, than I am of dying.

Well I am not afraid of the dark, and actually I don't think that many people are really afraid of death. What they are afraid of is the thought of not being with their loved ones anymore.
