I guess since I'm a biology major in college, I can actually answer your question!
Biology is the science of life. The word comes from the two Greek words "bio" meaning life and "logos" meaning discourse. It deals with studying all aspects of living things, from chemicals of life to cells to an organism to the biosphere.
