Actually she didn't hire the teacher that did it. She wasn't that hands on, so to speak. As far as her endorsement of Obama take it like you would any celebrity endorsement of a candidate. It should not affect your vote in any way. Think for yourself and be responsible for your actions. No one else.

Oprah is not responsible for the actions of the teacher, as she is only one person. As for her endorsement, I think she needs to take a good look at how prejudice she is against white people. I think she lives in the past as slavery days, that no one alive today had anything to do with. Maybe if she took a good look she would politically either change her mind or at least look at people and not their color, however Oprah is an opportunist who will cash in on any situation.

Oprah is a person like everyone else. Everyone has their opinions and you have to go with your own. However, I don't think hiring the teacher speaks to her character. As an abuse victim herself she would not intentionally hire someone like that. Everyone can be fooled at some time. Con artists and predators can be the sneakiest.

The teacher thing I don't feel is her fault. But as far as her endorsement, I could care less about celeb endorsements.
Because they can act, sing, do karate, etc... doesn't make me feel that they are any wiser than myself or anyone else.

I would never make a voting decision based on a celebrity endorsement. I would evaluate the candidates, and make a choice based on whom I believed to be the most qualified candidate, and who agrees with my own personal political viewpoints. That's why I usually vote for anyone other than a Republican or Democrat. -RKO- 12/09/07

I don't pay much attention to endorsements. They speak more to the character of the endorser than the candidate

Her endorsement is as good as anyone else's. Take it for what it means to you. Some trust her and some do not. Frankly I don't give a rat's behind what she or anyone else thinks.

She can endorse whomever she wishes and it is not her fault that a teacher was not responsible. Peace
