Starting a war in Iraq has weakened your military standpoint and put the country in debt. Al Qaeda would have just had fought you in Afghanistan instead of Iraq.

Thats even if the insurgents are even part of Al Qaeda which would be the minority.

Certainly agree with you. Iraq was not involved in the terrorist action in 9/11 nor were there terrorist active in Saddams Iraq. There sure are now and Iraq will be vulnerable if America pulls out. It was so unnecessary and not smart visa via the terrorist war. So much money has and is being spent in Iraq that could have been better spent in security at home and actually fighting terrorism. We had them on the run in Afghanistan and the job should have been completed. Now there back and gaining strength as we are weakened both militarily and financially. Its a shame.

I have to agree with Robert S and you. That is obvious.. The southern border hs over 100,000* a year caught from "terror sponsoring" countries, which are few. Then the 3 million* from all over the world that jump visas when they expire. About the only thing on that level is dropping the Clinton legal immigration high of 2.5 mill* a year to 1 mill.

The Pat Act has stopped about 25 deiffernet things* **. So there's a plus, but they did have him in Af. This is documented by the sp. ops. who wrote the book. strikes had cut his force from 2,000 to 800 and he asked for support to be droppd in on the Pakky side, but no one moved. Ironic. As the CO said after telling them to drop the remaining ordinace on his pod. . Some day we will know. As for the fence they are fighting in court and about to move ahead with or with out land owner agreement. . Take care.

He has not.

He has weakened us militarily, economically and politically, which was al Qaeda's goal in the first place.

In otherwords, Shrub has accomplished al Qaeda's mission for them.

Furthermore, Shrub has wiped his posterior with the Constitution and flushed it down the toilet, which, by the way, was another of al Qaeda's goals: to curtail individual freedoms they interpret as contrary to the precepts of Islam.

Whose side is Shrub on anyway?

If you ask why Osama has not been caught, you'll get the Iraq issue as an answer. I know this is not the answer but you're going to get it anyway.

How did Clinton help us by not taking Bin Laden when he was offered on a plate to us. There is enough room for blame to go for everyone in the US government. god help us if Hillary gets in the White House.

cons think the simple fact that we haven't been attacked since 9/11 is proof enough. fact of the matter is, the last time 3000 americans were killed on american soil (on the u.s. mainland) was in the war of 1812.
